Background & Education
Francisco was born in Madrid, Spain, as the only son of Francisco de Borbón y Escasany, 5th Duke of Seville, and Countess Beatrice von Hardenberg-Fürstenberg. His lineage bridges the royal House of Bourbon-Anjou and the princely House of Fürstenberg. His ancestry also traces directly to King Louis XIV of France and King Charles IV of Spain.
He was raised in Spain and the United States, attending Gulliver Preparatory School in Miami and the American School of Madrid. He later graduated cum laude with a degree in Sports Management and Business from Barry University in Miami Shores.
Professional Career
Francisco began his career in sports management with IMG in Miami (2002), followed by a role as Sports Director at CMG Madrid (2003–2005). In 2005, he founded ASAP Sports and became the youngest FIFA-certified agent at the time.
In 2012, he co-founded Alpha Trading, a U.S.-based trading company focused on precious metals, oil, and gas. The company has since expanded under Alpha Trading Investments, diversifying into technology, defence, healthcare, marine, and financial sectors.
In 2015, he co-founded WPFH, a publicly traded technology services company, where he serves on the advisory board, and also co-founded Neftan Co., a specialist firm that empowers emerging markets through innovative debt financing and advisory services focused on sustainable development.
In 2025, he co-founded Blue Acquisition Corp., a Nasdaq-listed technology investment company. Francisco is also a beneficiary partner of Graf Hardenberg GmbH, a prominent automotive group representing VW, Porsche, and Audi in southern Germany.

In 2023, he was appointed Senator of UNASDG, and in 2024, became Ambassador-at-Large for Africa for UNDMRO – both humanitarian organizations operating as specialized intergovernmental bodies affiliated with the United Nations system.
In 2025, he was named President of the Los Angeles Custodios of the Policia Nacional of Spain, a non-profit organization promoting social responsibility and supporting law enforcement personnel and their communities.
